End Game

“Hey look there’s the Sky Tower!” Yay we were finally in the city. We were going to The Capital E Theatre, to watch a production called End Game. When we finally got to the theatre we had to wait. A few of the senior classes were with us. Only a few because the other half were going to come but later on. “Okay kids stand and up and walk quietly into the theatre.” As we walked into the theatre there was a room that we passed called the crying room. Was drama so touching that people actually cried? Naah! Who cares about crying right now, I was getting shoved in through the door and down the steep stairs that led to my seat. There was also this guy called Abhishek who was sitting on seat 13 and guess what that day was it was Friday the 13th!(check out his blog page http://www.7teencrew-abhishek.blogspot.com) .The seats were the type of seats where you had to pull the seat down and sit on it properly otherwise it would flip up. I took my seat and the lights went out and a big booming voice was heard “Ladies and Gentleman, Boys and Girls may you please take your seats. We would like quiet in the theatre and if you have any cellphones on would you please put them off. Thank You and enjoy the show” The first scene was about a boy named Alex and his mum. They were going through their daily routine which mainly consisted of going on facebook and playing computer games. Then they get the bad news that Alex’s grandfather is very sick and is in hospital. When Alex and his mum get there Alex plugs his laptop in and the his mum gets worried that he might have pulled out his grandfathers life preserver machine but he didn’t cause there happened to be 2 more plug points. So his mum went and pushed the plug in to charge her blackberry and they got sucked into Alex’s computer game. It was a daring and courageous story about how they had to go on a quest and all the while there was a life gauge which represented his grandfathers life. If they did not complete the quest before the gauge ran out Alex’s grandfather would die. But you know most stories have a happy ending and they get back in time. Overall if I had to rate this production on a scale from 1-10 I would give it a 7.
