I wake up feeling really cold. My toes and fingers feel numb. I remember where I am. I'm in Tauranga. I was staying at the Bennets Motor Inn. My dad was preaching at a mens Christian event named Promise Keepers.
I was so tired so I just lied in. I was tired from the traveling we did on Saturday. We were going to church and when I finally woke up I remembered that the Boks had played the Aussies! I so hoped that they would win this game after all the disappointment they went through.
I had a feeling they took their anger out on the Australians but I wasn't sure so I asked my dad. He said he only watched the first half and they were losing 28-24. Well not a great start but I hoped I had Bok intuition. I endured the whole day anxiously waiting to get back home to Auckland so I could access the internet.
We got home really late as we had to go to this guy who sold us our new van. When we got back to our house it was 7:37. I had to have a shower first and then have dinner. I had two slices of toast and runny egg in between.
Now to get back to the subject of excitement. I sat on the couch eating ice-cream and watching NCIS. You know I want to be a forensic scientist or if I change my mind I want to act on CSI: Miami and my last resort is to be a famous singer or actor!
Anyway I was eating ice-cream and watching NCIS. I was watching a bit were Abby (one of the actors) was complaining to Gibbs (he was sort of like the boss) about the power being out and how she couldn't run a dialysis, and then I realised I have power. A laptop needs power and I need a laptop. I burst out saying to my dad,
"Is mum's laptop downstairs!"
I took a quick glance around.
There it was on the floor. I picked it up and flung it on my lap (but didn't break it). I quickly went onto the nz herald website. I clicked on the Sports category. Nine Try Come Back was the headline.
"DAD THEY WON!!!!! Nine tries 44-31!!!!!!!" I was beyond ecstatic.
Now you may be wondering if I have got my taste for rugby back. Well I sure do have it back buddy.
So now I think the Springboks will definitely get their revenge on the All Blacks. Sorry All Blacks get ready to get whipped!
