Annie's Hard Knock Life

The whole of Anawhata crew were sitting in room 17, when we started talking about the production we had recently seen called End Game. Miss Hughes then started to talk about how Henderson Intermediate was putting on a production called Annie. I had watched the movie but hadn't seen people do it right in front of my eyes.

Now a few weeks later, here we are sitting on the bus on the way to Henderson Intermediate to watch Annie. When Miss Hughes and the other teachers started to talk about it at that assembly I didn't take the teachers seriously. When we got into the theatre it was mostly silent, apart from the occasional exclamation of wonder at how the actor could have done such great acting and after every scene we all clapped.
My favourite song was the one called NYC or something like that. I really enjoyed going there and I think it was a great experience. I wish I could watch it over and over again, but I may get bored of sitting for so long over and over again. There are many different versions of Annie but I really enjoyed this one. Well done to the students of Henderson Intermediate. Great Show!
