Speeches. I am so sccaarred! Not. I LOVE speeches because, you get to share:
- Your opinion on things
- Subjects that can make people feel all sorts of emotions
- Show people what you know
And
- You get to get up in front of your class and strut your stuff! (this is my opinion)
Speeches are also a good way to get people's attention so that they are aware about things that are happening e.g. Global warming, saving the enviroment, drugs and so on. I am doing a speech on... ta da not telling you and no the subject is not that. If you are from my school I am confident that you will be seeing me in the finals because I think my speech is really good, but I don't want to boast about this as there are heaps of people who's speeches sound better than mine. For example, my friend Shari has done a really good speech and it makes me laugh. And thats not all the good speeches there are heaps more but I don't want to list them all as there are A LOT!

I think speeches are challenging to everyone - even the teachers. Congratulations on doing really well and making it into the finals. I am really proud of you and the rest of the class!
