Afrikaans sentence for the day

I'm starting a new thing called Afrikaans sentence for today. Afrikaans is a language spoken in South Africa... WHERE I COME FROM! So I will give you 1 OR 2 sentences so that you can have a basic conversation with an Afrikaans speaking person if you ever meet one so here are your 2 sentences in Afrikaans.
 "Hallo my naam is..."  This sentence is pronounced like this: Hello May Naam issss (iss is like you're hissing) and it means Hello my name is... (... means whatever your name is) and your next sentence is:
"Wat is jou naam?" This sentence is pronounced like this: Vat isss (another hiss) yo (as in yo wazzup) naam. This sentence means "What is your name?" So now you can introduce yourself in Afrikaans AND ask someone else what their name is. Keep checking out for the next Afrikaans sentence.
