Yay!! I'm so excited!!! The day's are really sunny and it's been quite hot... 32 degrees Celsius like the last time! Anyway it's been quite hot and sunny... perfect for camping and going to the beach. And guess what, I get to do both. Me and my family and a few family friends (well not really a few there's 12 kids and 9 adults so there's 21 people altogether so not a few quite a lot). We went camping together in 2009 to the same place but not last year because we just needed a break (I know a year long break??). Well the name of the place we're going camping this year is... WAIHI BEACH the name of the camping grounds is something like Bowentown?? Anyway last time we went there it was so much fun! We'd wake up to the sound of the waves crashing against rocks and then eat some breakfast. We'd play around for a bit and then we'd get a choice of going to the wavy beach with a lot of waves OR the beach that was like a pool. That beach had very clear water and there were heaps of starfish and crabs!
I remember once my sister and one of her friends (name will not be mentioned) collected heaps of starfish in a bucket. They left them without water and they ended up nearly dying. My friend, one of the adults and I had to set them free into the sea. They smelt disgusting! Anyway if your going camping Yay!!! If you're not then you should try it... it's fun!!
